What is your role at the YWC?
I am licensed clinical psychologist and currently the clinical and research lead for youth mental health at St. Joe’s, as well as the clinical manager at the YWC. My role is to oversee the operations of our clinic, design and implement programing, and contribute to various equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives within our hospital system. I am also involved in teaching and supervision of learners (e.g., psychology practicum students, residents, and postdoctoral fellows) and doing research (e.g., on minority stress, gender identity development, improving psychological assessments for equity deserving groups) within the YWC.
